The Practice

A Look at Our Practice

WHO WE ARE:

The dream begins..."to serve rural America..."

In June 1993, the practice began in downtown Weston on Main Street. The initial mission was to provide quality care to rural West Virginians who need it most and continues to be the ultimate goal. The practice started with a small client base, but gradually developed. Within a short period of time the business began to flourish, which perpetuated the need for expansion. Following the construction of the building on Brown Ave., Weston, Family and Marital Counseling Center was born.

The practice started as a sole proprietorship, but in 2001 became incorporated. The practice continues to grow and provide the same great services to all its clients with clinicians who are highly motivated to serve all referrals to the very best of their abilities.

We moved our second location to 613 W. Pike, Clarksburg, WV. in 2015. Prior to that, in 2011, we were located in the Historic Goff Building, providing the same dedication and services to all clientele.

Unlike most other medical professions, in psychotherapy the patient's physical environment has a significant impact on the healing process. Family and Marital Counseling Center, Inc. understands the importance of providing patients with a warm, friendly, and familiar atmosphere and compassionate and helpful staff.

We are centrally located in Weston with plenty of off-street parking. Our practice is open, bright, and comfortable, which is exactly how we want our patients to feel. The counseling rooms are discreetly shielded and offer confidential settings, so you can be certain that what you say during therapy stays between you and your therapist.

Take a look at the photo gallery below to get acquainted with our practice. We look forward to welcoming you personally at Family and Marital Counseling Center, Inc.
